Altydgedacht Barbera 2020

100% Barbera sourced from 28 year old vines. In soot-free steel tanks prior to maturation in barrel. 12 months in wooden barrels, 15% of which are new oak. Characterized by red fruit, alongside floral notes and Christmas spices. The diverse fruit aromas are supported by subtle oak tannins providing notes of cedar followed by a velvety finish. The elegant tannin structure is a hallmark of the cooler Durbanville winegrowing region.
