The Wine of Origin district of Cape Town, introduced in 2017, is located around Cape Town, in the famous Coastal Region.
The Cape Town district has four wards: Constantia, Philadelphia, Hout Bay and Durbanville. Durbanville is located directly to the north of the urban area of Cape Town and there are a number of renowned companies, such as Nitida by Bernhard Veller, who make a wide range of wines.
Here too, it is possible due to the cooling proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and the diversity of heights with vineyards (from 100 to 380 meters). Durbanville has a solid reputation when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc and red of merlot and cabernet sauvignon.
