Semillon 2014

100% Semillon from old dryland bush vines planted in 1942. This vineyard only yields about 2 tons per hectare, and was neither sprayed nor irrigated. A complex nose of almonds, honey and citrus, with fresh apple and pear on the palate and a hint of toast. Matured for 10 months in French oak barrels (2nd & 3rd fill) with bâtonnage. Only 1280 bottles produced.
