Beau Constantia Stella 2019

The Latin word Stella means star and this wine is a fitting tribute to our late mother who will continue to be a guide and shining light in the Du Preez family as we seek to emulate her joy of life.
Almost 50% of the clusters whole bunches ferment along. The dry conditions prior to harvest allowed the stems to ripen optimally, so this stylistic tool has been used in the cellar to obtain even more flavor. A small dash of Viognier grapes was added to the fermenting Syrah, resulting in the deep ruby color of this wine.
Medium-bodied, but intensely concentrated from the tip of the tongue to the compelling finish that lingers. The palate is spicy, fresh and floral with fine tannins.
